1. Acceptance
By accessing the site pelleaneigeleducetfils.ca or doing business with Leduc & Fils ("Leduc & Fils", "we"), you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site and do not submit any request.
2. Scope
Leduc & Fils is the official Meyer distributor for Quebec — snow plows and spreaders for medium- and light-duty trucks. We offer sales, installation, maintenance and replacement parts for this equipment, plus a 24/7 emergency service. We do not provide residential or commercial snow-removal services.
3. Pricing and quotes
Equipment and service prices are provided only via a personalized quote, based on the truck involved, the options selected and the delivery territory. No price displayed on the site constitutes a firm offer. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
4. Warranties
All Meyer equipment (including the Diamond Edge line) is covered by the Meyer manufacturer warranty on the terms specific to the manufacturer. Leduc & Fils acts as an intermediary to facilitate claims but does not substitute for Meyer in coverage. Installation performed by our technicians or an authorized dealer is warrantied for one (1) year against workmanship defects.
Any unauthorized modification, misuse, or installation by an unauthorized third party voids the installation warranty.
5. Delivery and installation
Delivery and installation lead times vary by season. In peak season (October-November), allow two to four weeks from order. Off-season, most installs are completed within seven business days. Actual timelines are communicated at the quote stage.
6. Payment
Payment terms are stated on the quote. Commercial accounts may qualify for net-30 terms upon prior approval. Late payments accrue interest at the applicable legal rate.
7. Returns and cancellations
Custom or truck-specific equipment orders are non-refundable once production has begun at Meyer. Standard, uninstalled parts may be returned within 30 days, in new condition, with proof of purchase — restocking fees may apply.
8. 24/7 emergency service
Our 24/7 line is for urgent breakdowns during snow-clearing operations. Use for non-urgent requests may trigger administrative fees. After-hours interventions are billed at the emergency rate agreed in the quote.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Leduc & Fils' total liability for any damage related to a product or service is limited to the price paid for that product or service. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of use, loss of revenue or loss of contracts. This limitation does not apply in cases of intentional or gross fault.
10. Intellectual property
The trademarks Meyer, Diamond Edge and any associated logos are the property of their respective owners and used here under license or authorization. The content of the site pelleaneigeleducetfils.ca (text, images, layout) is protected by copyright; any reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and applicable Canadian laws. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, subject to consumer-protection rules.
12. Changes
We may amend these terms. The update date is shown at the top of this page. The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of your order or use of the site.
